DeleteSelection within a Table

Hi, I have a control within a table in a TRichViewEdit. I click on it and it is selected. I then click a toolbar button which has the code, rve.DeleteSelection. This works for controls that are not within a table, but does not work for controls that are within a table. Can you please shed some light on why this does not work? Thanks.

Can you send me a project reproducing the problem?

I tried Editor 1 demo, Edit | Delete command deletes controls in table cells as expected.
