Maximum conference connections

Post by JimHawkins »

Does anyone have any idea what the maximum number of participants in a conference is? By this I mean how many simultaneous audio-only people could be in and live. Do we think that 26 is possible? 50 would be good if the use of bandwidth is efficient.

There are no hard-coded limitations, so any configuration must be tested.

Thanks, Sergey.

I wondered if anybody had any empirical experience.

Are the channels mixed before sending to output, or are they assuming the Windows audio stages will do the mix?

I do not know users who use our components primarily for audio chats.
We do not mix audio ourselves, we rely on Windows.

Thanks. Actually, there's so much noise on the audio it's unusable!

if you want this for audio I would stay clear until new version as currently audio codec sucks and lags and breaks up a lot am hoping the next update will improve the audio.
