For converting only metafiles, you can add below

if gr is TJPEGImage then 
      exit; 

the following code:

if not (gr is TMetafile) then 
  exit; 

Note: when running in Delphi, this code generates exception when attempting to assign TMetafile to TBitmap. But these exceptions are in try..catch, so the code runs correctly.
